You cannot keep Cristiano Ronaldo calm and away from breaking records. This year only he has already made 2 Guinness world records for most International appearances and goals, the 5-time Ballon D’or winner eclipsed another feat yesterday this time with his “Head”.
The 38-year-old has become the highest goal scorer using a header. In case you didn’t know, a “Header” is a contact between the players head and the ball. You can use header both offensively and defensively. In Ronaldo’s cause, it was always going to be the one that finds the back of the net.

Al-Nassr thumped Tunisia Ligue 1 side US Monastir by 4-1 with Talisca scoring the opening goal for the Saudi outfit in 42′. However in the 66th minute, Center Back Ali Lajami mistakenly helped Monastir equal the scoreline and it took an effort from Cristiano Ronaldo to suddenly change the game.
He headed in a perfect looping ball coming from the Right channel towards the far post in a classic sequence. Ronaldo raised his fist in pride, knowing he has won the game for his side and it really was a matter of time until his team mates further blanked the opponents.
Cristiano Ronaldo turns back time
Abdulelah Al-Amri and Abdulaziz Saud Al Elewai scored the 3rd and 4th goal in 88′ & 90′. We are unaware that Cristiano Ronaldo was aware of this during the match but he overtook German legend Gerd Muller in all-time highest scorers with their heads. Muller had 144 headers while former Spanish International Santillana had 125 and the legendary Pele had 124 header goals.
Even at 38, Ronaldo is going strong, his longevity – unmatched as he scored in 22nd season in a row. Up next Al-Nassr will face Zamalek in Arab Club Champions Cup group stage fixture against Zamalek on 3 August. Al-Nassr will begin their 2023/23 Pro League campaign on 13th August against Al-Ettifaq.
