Champions Trophy 2025 Final: Which Spin Department Looks Strong among India and New Zealand?

Champions Trophy 2025 Final: Which Spin Department Looks Strong among India and New Zealand?

The most anticipated final between India and New Zealand is all set to start in few minutes from now where the most crucial toss have been won by Black Caps against India.

Ideally spinners would come into play on this track and considering the composition both sides have in terms of classy spinners both teams looks equally balanced.

India have spin quartlet including the likes of- Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav in retrospect to Black Caps who have spin bowling lineup including the likes of-Glenn Philips, Mitchell Santner, Rachin Ravindra and Michael Bracewell.

Let’s Compare these two performance of Spinners of both teams ahead of biggest encounter in the below format:

1.  New Zealand Skipper Mitchell Santner picked up 7 wickets so far in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025.

2. Rest of the spinners have chipped in with wickets in order to make early inroads and clinch wickets in the Ongoing Champions Trophy 2025.

3. Varun Chakravarthy have also picked up 7 wickets so far in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 so far.

4. Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav have clinched 4 wickets each among each other in the ongoing Champions Trophy

My Perspective:

If you closely look at spin bowling options between both sides, it only looks balanced considering the experience in both sides, Men in Blue have an upper edge and India played their most matches in Dubai would be clearly understanding the conditions here.

India need to get New Zealand out on meager total considering that New Zealand have classy bowling and spinners in their lineup so that they can easily chase down these total.

Indian Cricket Team is certainly on the roll and deserve credit for the kind of cricket they have played so far, they thoroughly deserve trophy.

Let’s see how many score New Zealand will score in the night of the final against India.
