The Caribbean premier league has just started, and till now several matches have been abandoned due to rain. However, the 7th match that was played yesterday was certainly full of sixes and boundaries for the audience. Jamaica Tallawahs went on to win the match by 8 wickets. But the main reason behind the good performance of the Jamaica Tallawahs was the good performance of the bowling unit. Mainly it was Salman Irshad who acted as the spearhead for the bowlers. Contribution of Salman Irshad

Salman Irshad took 4 wickets in 4 overs, at an economy of only 6.80. This showed that he is certainly a brilliant bowler, and his bowling was certainly putting pressure on the batters of the other team. Even though he bowled 6 wide balls and 1 no ball, still he managed to have a good economy. This shows that he was bowling a lot of dot balls.

  • St Kitts and Nevis Patriots batted first, and they lost the first wicket at a score of only 24 runs, and that was the wicket of the captain.
  • On the other end, Andre Fletcher was getting settled, and that could have been a matter of concern for the team. But soon his wicket was taken by Salman Irshad. That was certainly a brilliant way to start the action.
  • The next wicket of Irshad was Joshua Da Silva. He went on to take his wicket too, at the time when Joshua was settled at the score of 36.
  • Right on the next ball Irshad also got the wicket of Corbin Bosch. In the same over on the 5th ball, he even got Rayudu’s wicket.
