Big Breaking: Popular Australian Cricketer turned Commentator Michael Slater Sentenced 4 years in Prision
There is so much going in Cricket Industry as IPL being one of the biggest leagues in the world, PSL is going on at the same time in Pakistan post IPL and PSL international matches will resume.
However Cricket always remain in the news for all wrong reasons too and latest to join this bandwagon is none other than Australian Cricketer turned Commentator Michael Slater was on Tuesday sentenced to Four years in Prison, after pleading guilty for multiple charges.
The case further dwelled into domestic violence and the case was going for long finally the decision have been served now.
However reports have been circulated in distinct Australian Media Outlets, where it stated “Partly Suspended” due to the time period.
The 55 year old have been charged with more than dozen offences which include various things- domestic violence, unlawful stalking, intimidation breaking into dwelling with intent at night, common assault, bodily harm and choking and suffocation.
The case was discussed at Maroochy District Court, that alcohol being repetitive feature which made case worst against him.
Since late 2023, assault have been done by Michal Slater against Victim as the latter identity is not revealed yet, but she hailed from Noosa Region and he also warned victim not to report this harassments in police otherwise he will self harm himself.
Judge Glen Cash described Slater as “Complete alcoholic personality” warned him that “his rehabilitation process” won’t be easy.
Overall we have seen that these cases dampen the spirit of Sports Personality if you are found guilty, it will ultimately take away their fame and respect which they have accumulated over the years.
Michal Slater personality on the camera is quite happy and refreshing until this case wouldn’t have reported things would have gone downhill for sure.
This would certainly damage his image but as they say if you are public personality you need to bear the pros and consequences of this field for sure.
