Big Breaking: Pakistan are out of Champions Trophy 2025

Pakistan Cricket Team is in absolute shambles, as they have lost two back to back matches in Champions Trophy.

With New Zealand victory against Bangladesh by 6 wickets, Men in Green are out of the tournament now.

The biggest question arises, how come Pakistan faltered so badly in Cricket who used to be dominant force in 80s and 90s.

Let’s explore all those pointers in detail to be shared in the below format:

1. In last 4 years, they have changed 26 selectors,4 Captains, 8 Coaches and worst system at domestic level is a brilliant way to start describing Pakistan Cricket an absolute shamble.

2. Favoritism at its peak, as the likes of Azam, Rizwan, Shaheen, Naseem, Haris are there in the team for close to 5-6 years and nothing fruiful has come out of it and they have continously faltered in ICC events without performing speaks a lot of about their credibility as player.

3. Their domestic system has been faltered completely, as their school cricket have been completely dismantled followed by domestic team being reduced to only 7 teams which would not allow more players to play domestic cricket all their selections are going through, Pakistan Super League, Champions Trophy whose quality is not upto the mark.

4. If you look at Captaincy baton passed from one generation to next is totally wrong, as 2017 was the year they won Champions Trophy under Sarfaraz Ahmed Leadership and he was sacked couple of years later, for no reasons instead Cricket board should have groomed Babar under Sarfaraz Leadership which didn’t happen instead he was sacked and Babar was given leadership role and he faltered to deliver as captain.

5. Whether it is Babar or Rizwan being a senior batter they both have played only for their personal milestones instead of playing for the team due to which they didn’t let any backup batters to prevail and deliver.

6. Pakistan’s Bench Strength is in absolute shackles, as there is no proper back up players in the squad in all three departments- batting, balling and all rounder.

7. Worst Selections in home conditions- Let’s take Champions Trophy 2025, where most teams have picked 3-4 spinners barring Pakistan who haven’t selected even one which clearly depict the unawareness of selection committee to select players under their home conditions too.

8. Not persisting with players is another reasons why there is severe insecurity in the dressing room.

Why this Pakistani team should not be taken lightly in modern day cricket?

9. Too much reliability on players who play modern day cricket including the likes of Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub once they got injured and couldn’t make comeback, it was certain that batters in their squad will not able to play attacking brand of cricket.

10. Pakistan is not playing ideally the Kind of cricket which is the need of an hour, instead they are stuck in defensive mentality of 80s and 90s.

If they want to do wonders by playing modern brand of cricket they need to change their batting template otherwise they would ideally fall behind other top notch teams in International Cricket.

With Pakistan bowled out currently, on the meager total, there is so much on the tank for them to think and correct those mistakes otherwise they would decline certainly in the cricket field.

All these changes will start from Domestic level, if things are not corrected then it will be too late for Men in Green to make name for themselves in International Cricket.
