Big Breaking: Indian Olympic Association to Form Penal to Figure Out Delay in Boxing Federation of India Elections
The situations seems to be worsening for Indian boxing, where Elections are not happening on regular basis.
Based on latest development, Indian Olympic Association (IOA) to devise a mechanism where they would be looking to form a panel in order to develop a mechanism, so that Elections could be long overdue in Boxing Federation of India(BFI).
The PT Usha Led Indian Olympic Association is all set to constituted a Three member Fact- Finding committee in order to investigate the reasons behind delay in Holding the electoral process.
The Indian Olympic Association Panel, which was formed on Friday has been asked to submit its Report within a week in order to understand the actual scenarios so that correct findings could be submitted to World Boxing Federations who is current Global Body for Boxing.
The panel would be formed to understand the reasons behind possible delays and making sure that elections could be held on time so that administrational level changes could be talked about initially, and all these decisions have been taken after President PT Usha.

The Committee comprises of IOA Treasurer Sahdev Yadav as its chairperson along with him IOA executive council Member Bhupinder Singh Bajwa as other two members.

Meanwhile, BFI executive director Arun Malik, who is also member of the interim committee, on Sunday said that the commitee is “Fully committed to delivering free and fair polls within the given timeline”.
“At the same time, it is important to reaffirm that the autonomy of the National Federation is governed by the framework laid down by the World Body” said Malik said in a statement on Sunday.
