Big Breaking: Boxing all set to be Included in Los Angeles Olympics
Great News for all Boxing Fans, as the popular combat sport will be included in the Upcoming Los Angeles Olympics probably touted as biggest Sporting event in the world.
Based on latest development, International Olympic Committee have recommended the inclusion of Boxing in Los Angeles 2028 Olympics which will end year long saga regarding the Sport Olympic future.
World Boxing Federation recently received recognition from International Olympic Committee which clearly gave green signal, to include Boxing in Olympics.
Just in case you aren’t aware about situation of International Boxing Federation, recognition was taken away by IOC after their failure to bring reforms in governance and finances.
The ban was lifted by IOC after new World Boxing Federation came in existence in the year 2023 in place of International Boxing Federation with more than 80 nations involved in it.
World Boxing Federation President Boris Vander Vorst stated while talking to distinct media outlets “This is significant milestones for our sport to be included in Olympics and we are all excited about the inclusion of this sport in Olympics”.

The International Olympic Committee, stated all those countries whose national federations were member of World Boxing will receive an opportunity to participate in Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
Indian Boxing team will certainly take part in Los Angeles Olympics and it would certainly great news as they are expected to churn out more medals in the Upcoming Marquee event.
The International Olympic Committee banned International Boxing Federation led by Russian Businessman Umar Kremlev in 2019 for over governance, ethical issues and referring due to which Federation recognition was ultimately stripped off.
Indian Boxing Ecosystem, will be benefitted as players are expected to churn more medals in the Upcoming edition.
