Batsman hits 6 sixes in an over during the ECS T10 Vienna League match

Ever since cricket has returned after the coronavirus pandemic, the European Cricket Series Vienna T10 league has attracted a significant number of fans from all over.  T10 league is the smallest form of cricket that started in Europe last year. It was a success last year and that led to going with yet another edition of the ECS T10 Vienna league even this year. 

With five teams competing against each other, the league has brought extravaganza for the fans starting from August 17, 2020. In one such game between Vienna Afghan CC and Austria CC Wien, the fans were treated with a watchful delight. 

Vienna Afghan won the toss at the Seebarn Cricket Ground and elected to bats first. It was the opener Aziz Khaksar who blasted the underfire Austrian Wien bowlers all over the ground.

Batsman hits 6 sixes in an over during the ECS T10 Vienna League match

The batsman hit a back to back sixes in an over and punished the opposition bowler Farhan Mohideen. Khaksar scored 36 runs in that over as he became the first batsman in the T10 cricket to score six consecutive sixes. Whereas, Mohideen conceded 37 runs off the only over he bowled and posted an economy rate of 37.00. 

Besides, he also became the first and fastest batsman to score a century in T10 cricket as he reached the milestone in just 32 balls. He also helped his side post 158/3 and set a stiff target for the Austria CC Wien. 

Afghan CC went on to win the match by 40 runs as Austria CC failed to chase the target and finished on 118/5.
