Australia defeated India by nine wickets in the third Border-Gavaskar Test at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, securing their place in the World Test Championship (WTC) finals. To earn their second victory in India since 2004, the visitors had to chase down 76 runs in the fourth innings. As R Ashwin dismissed Usman Khawaja off of the second delivery of the day, a competitive match was anticipated.

Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne, on the other hand, managed to get Australia home in just 20 overs.
