Khan’s 151 off 145 balls were the cornerstone of the UAE’s total of 308-4, which proved to be too much for the US to chase down. The youngster hit 12 fours and 6 sixes in his innings, and he was particularly impressive in the middle overs when he put on a 100-run partnership with Rohan Mustafa.
Khan’s century was his second in his last three ODIs, and it comes at a time when the UAE is looking to qualify for the 2023 World Cup. The team currently sit in third place in the WC Qualifier standings, and they will need to continue their good form if they are to reach the tournament in India.
