Sift Kaur Samra, with an astounding score of 469.6 points, clinched the top spot. Her performance broke multiple records, including the world record, the Asian record, and the Asian Games record. The previous world record was held by Great Britain, the Asian record by China, and the Asian Games record by Mongolia. Sift’s remarkable feat has not only brought glory to herself but also to the nation.

Ashi Chouksey Remarkable Achievement

Ashi Chouksey, with her unwavering determination, secured a bronze medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3P individual final. Her impressive score of 451.9 points solidified her position on the podium. Ashi’s achievement adds another feather to India’s cap and showcases the talent within the country.

India’s Dominance in Shooting

The Indian shooting contingent has been delivering exceptional performances, consistently bagging medals and making the nation proud.

Earlier in the tournament, the trio of Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh, and Rhythm Sangwan displayed their prowess by capturing a gold medal in the women’s 25m pistol team event. India secured a total of 1759 points, securing the gold medal.

Additionally, Ashi Chouksey, Manini Kaushik, and Sift Kaur Samara joined forces to secure a silver medal for India in the women’s 50m rifle 3P team shooting event. With a commendable score of 1754 points, the Indian team displayed remarkable teamwork and skill, falling just 19 points short of the gold medal.

India’s shooting contingent continued to shine with record-breaking performances in various events. The team of Divyansh Singh Panwar, Rudrankksh Patil, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar captured a world-record-breaking gold in the men’s 10-meter air rifle team event. This outstanding achievement solidified India’s reputation as a powerhouse in shooting.

In the women’s 10-meter air rifle team event, the trio of Mehuli Ghosh, Ramita Jindal, and Ashi Chouksey secured a silver medal, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork.

Individual Brilliance

Several Indian shooters also excelled in individual events. Ramita Jindal secured a bronze medal in the women’s 10-meter air rifle individual event, further contributing to India’s medal tally. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar displayed his talent by winning a bronze in the men’s 10-meter air rifle individual event.

The men’s 25-meter rapid-fire pistol team, comprising Adarsh Singh, Vijayveer Sidhu, and Anish Bhanwala, added to India’s medal haul by securing a bronze medal.
