Andre Russell Reveals the Gender of First baby in Style

West Indies cricket superstar Andre Russell recently announced the good news that he and his wife Jassym Lora are expecting their first baby.

The 31-year-old West Indies cricketer shared the pregnancy news and also the gender of the baby during a celebration event on his Instagram page.

In the video, Russell’s wife Lora can be seen throwing an under arm white ball to Andre Russell and as soon as the ball made contact with the bat, the ball exploded in pink smoke.

“So its girl, another blessing in my life it didn’t matter if it was a girl or a boy, all am asking God for is a healthy baby,” wrote Russell.

Once the news bursted on social media, the blessings and wishes poured from across all across the globe.

Universe boss Chris Gayle replied to the post saying “where was my invitation. Congrats bro..another lucky girl.”

“Wishing a safe pregnancy and successful delivery,” Carlos Braithwaite commented.

Former West Indies captain Daren Sammy posted: “Congratulations champ wishing the wifey a healthy pregnancy @ar12russell”.

“Girls rule the world bro…blessings,” West Indies spinner Samuel Badree quoted.

The Instagram video collected over 400,000 views in just an hour from the followers, friends and other members from cricket fraternity.

Russell was last seen in West Indies colours in the World Cup 2019, during which he suffered a knee injury. Due to the injury, he missed the three-match T20 International series against India.
