Amir trolled for liking “Pakistan is a terrorist Country” tweet, looking to settle in UK

Mohammad Amir has been creating sensation after he announced his retirement from test cricket at a young age of 27. Not long ago, he was one of the leading wicket-takers in World Cup 2019 with 17 scalps to his name. He justified his retirement by stating he wants to focus on other formats.

But the Pakistani hurricane took the internet by storm after he liked a fan’s tweet that said: “I think he should leave from a terrorist country”. But soon he realized his mistake and blocked the user, who shared the liked screenshot on social media.

He clarified that liking the tweet was a mistake and was trying to like some other tweet. The electrifying pacer took to Twitter and wrote: “No sir by mistake I liked that tweet I was trying to like other tweets,”.

Mohammad Amir wife hits back at the trollers:

Mohammad Amir’s wife Nargis Malik also took to Twitter that not only defended her husband’s integrity and loyalty but also give a befitting reply to the social media trollers.

In the note, she stated “Even though we don’t need to explain our decision to anyone but for the people who care n support us, my husband @iamamirofficial doesn’t need to play for England or any other country he is a proud Pakistani and loves playing and representing his country PAKISTAN. Not just him even if our child Minsa ever wants to play cricket she will represent Pakistan like her father as it’s his wish,”

“He has retired from test cricket only not cricket. He has done that so he could give more to one day and T20 and make his country proud like always, she said. I wish peace to all the negative people out there may Allah help u positivity is a great blessing from Allah may all the negative people be blessed with that.” She further added.

To which Mohammad Amir also responded, “Well said, Begum”.

Well as we say, there is no smoke without fire, Amir’s wife is a British citizen and Amir is officially eligible to apply for spouse visa that will allow him to reside in the UK for 30 months. Recently a source quoted to PTI stating “He is clearly planning to obtain a British passport and permanently settle down in England in future,”.
