Abdul Razzaq Issues Apology for Controversial Aishwarya Rai Comment Amid Backlash

Even former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi, who was present at the event, was initially seen clapping, later expressed regret, stating, “It was a bad joke, and should not have happened.” Afridi acknowledged that he did not initially grasp the inappropriate nature of Razzaq’s comment but pledged to ask him to issue an apology upon realizing the gravity of the situation.

Shiv Sena’s Priyanka Chaturvedi also joined the chorus of criticism, slamming Razzaq for his remarks.
