India has a respectable record at the Asian Games. The Asian Games are a once-in-a-four-year multi-sport tournament that features competitors from various Asian countries. Since the Asian Games’ beginning in 1951, India has had tremendous success in a variety of sporting categories.

In terms of overall medal tally, India has constantly been among the top countries. They have won multiple medals in various Asian Games editions. India has won medals in a variety of sports, including athletics, wrestling, shooting, boxing, badminton, hockey, kabaddi, and others.

India’s Men’s Field Hockey team, especially as compared to other sports, has a long history of dominance in the Asian Games, winning many gold medals. Over the years, India’s achievements at the Asian Games have improved, with the country continuously increasing its medal total in recent editions.
