4 Real Madrid youth players detained by Spanish authorities for leaking Minor’s private video

Regarded as the best Football club in the world, Real Madrid confirmed on Friday morning that 3 of its players from the Youth ranks were arrested by Spainish police authority on a complaint lodged by the Mother of a 16-year-old girl.

The players were reportedly pulled up by the Authorities at Real Madrid’s training center and took their statements about leaking a sex video tape of a 16-year-old minor. Mother of that unnamed girl reported the incident to Police at Canary Islands region.

Although it took more than a month for the Police to start the proceedings but as per latest reports, 3 Real Madrid C players and 1 player from Real Madrid’s Castilla team which plays in the 3rd Tier of Spanish footballing system.

“Real Madrid wishes to announce that it has learned that a Castilla player and three Real Madrid C players have made statements to the Civil Guard in relation to a complaint about the alleged broadcasting of a private video via WhatsApp. When the club has detailed knowledge of the facts, we will take the appropriate measures.” – a Real Madrid press release read.

Spanish police have not yet named any of the detainees and are unlikely to do so for legal reasons.

All 4 of them made statements to Spanish Civil Guard officials. While the suspicion was more on 3 Madrid’s C players, involvement of the Castilla player still remains unclear. These reports were bombarded by Spanish media yesterday and this news is coming right after Luis Rubiales kiss row slowed down.

When the Women’s Spanish team was receiving medals after becoming 1st time FIFA Women’s World Cup winners, Royal spanish football federation’s President Luis Rubiales, out of the blue, kissed Jennifer Hermoso on the lips without the player’s consent.

Days later Hermoso filed a Sexual misconduct case against the 46-year-old and a lot has happened in Spanish football since then. The new case about Real Madrid’s youth homegrown players only adds flame to the fire already lit within the nation.

Other than Sexual misconducts, Spaniard audiences inside football stadiums are also well-known for throwing Racial slurs at players. Real Madrid’s star number 7 Vinicius Jr. in fact called La Liga, the league of racists after fans of opposing teams threw Monkey chants towards him in an away game last season.

He griefed and wrote on social media that what was the League of legends like Ronaldo, Messi, Maradona, Ronaldinho, has now become a league of sheer racists. Just imagine hearing Racist chants from more than 30,000 people inside a stadium.

It will be fair to say that it is the darkest phase of Spanish football and the darkness is such that even the shone of a World Cup trophy has disappeared.
