There isn’t much to say about Gujarat’s bowlers. They were brought to cleaners all over the park and were helpless against Sophie Devine’s powerful blows. The best spinners were Kim Garth and Sneh Rana, who each claimed a wicket. The other spinners had a bad day in the field and went over 15 runs per over.

The Gujarat team’s path is now more challenging as they sit at the bottom of the table, having dropped their fifth encounter through a poor net run rate than RCB Women.
On the strength of Laura Wolvaardt’s fine fifty and valuable hits from Sabbineni Meghana and Ashleigh Gardner earlier in the day, Gujarat reached a respectable total of 188. Dayalan Hemalatha and Harleen Deol added the finishing details, but they were insufficient for the day.
ICYMI!@akgardner97 supported @LauraWolvaardt brilliantly at the other end and played an excellent cameo ππ#TATAWPL | #RCBvGG

The bowler of choice for the Bangalore team was Shreyanka Patil. The Women’s Premier League has been lit up by the Sophie Devine tempest that we saw at the Brabourne.

For her 99, Sophie Devine received the Orange Cap as well as the Player of the Match. She declares that she is content with defeating Meg Lanning and winning the orange headgear. The balls, according to her, were in her favor, and she was willing to take a risk.
Aside from wanting to bring her side home sooner, she adds that she was not concerned about the benchmarks. claims that she is still hopeful that they will make the semifinals. Credits the bowlers to keep Gujarat to a par total as the conditions were not simple for the bowlers. She ends by stating that of all her sixes, the one that came in first place was her personal best.
