Watch: Virat Kohli shares a special video for RCB fans ahead of IPL Auction

 

Less than 24 hours are left from the start of the IPL auction for the 2020 edition and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has recorded a message for the RCB fans ahead of the important event.

Kohli and his men are yet to win a IPL trophy despite participating in all the editions. It has now turned into a do or die situation for RCB to win the title and bring joy to their fans. And, the RCB captain ensured the fans ahead of the auction that they are going to cover all bases and build a strong team for the 2020 season.

 

“As you all know for the upcoming season the auctions coming up as well and I want all of you to rally behind the team, the management group, Mike Hesson and Simon Katich are doing a tremendous job.”

We’ve had a few discussions to build a team around, strong core that we already have and we assure that we going to cover all bases that are required and build a very strong team to have a really good season in 2020,” Kohli said in the video.

Despite having a team full of superstars, RCB have finished last in the table twice. However, after all the failures, it’s a new season and a new start for RCB and Kohli urged the fans to get behind the team.

“So, as I said get behind the team and your support has always been priceless for us and will be crucial forever and ever till we play the sport. So, thank you very much and looking forward to the auction,” he concluded.

The IPL auction for the 2020 edition is set to take place on December 19 in Kolkata.
