“There is no Rivalry among India-Pakistan now” reveals Ex Pakistani Skipper

India and Pakistan matches of late have never build up to expectations, where Men in Blue on last six occasions have single handedly defeated Pakistan and those margin of defeats are much higher.

Pakistan Cricket team is in absolute shambles, with the defensive approach towards game and ability to not convert these meager runs into bigger ones while batting.

Pakistan Cricket Team was known for their fast bowling once and the way their current crop of bowlers including the likes of- Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf failed to maintain their line and length when it comes to important encounter.

In short they lack planning big time for sure when it comes to facing arch-rivals India.

Indian Cricket have become top notch higher credit should be given to domestic ecosystem, where players who are doing well are coming up the ranks to Play for India.

Pakistan Experts have criticsed their team when it comes to planning and the latest to join the bandwagon is none other than Former Pakistani skipper Asif Iqbal stated I am not shocked with Men in Green loss against India as its like when No 1 ranked Tennis Player Novak Djokovic play against number 100th ranked team.

India are top of the ladder when it comes to rankings whereas, Pakistan are at the bottom.

He added that “If Pakistan beat India in ICC events it will be called as upset or off day for India. Otherwise the kind of cricket India is playing they can easily beat Pakistan on any given day”.

He Concluded with the fact that ” Pakistan team is losing because they are not playing good cricket. The standard set by Top tier team is something Pakistan can’t match for sure. Instead of criticsing them on tv our experts should give them confidence to deliver”.

Asif Iqbal represented Pakistan in 82 ODI and 10 Test matches with the period of 1964 to 1980.

My Perspective: 

India and Pakistan have impeccable rivalry considering the political tension surmounted among these two teams.

In the last six ODI encounter between India and Pakistan, Men in Blue have not only emerged winner against Pakistan but they have dominated later in one sided encounter.

India have already qualified for the semifinal however Pakistan are already out of the tournament.

There is lot to think for Men in Green otherwise even smaller cricket teams will start beating them in times to come.

India would be expected to play 1st semifinal on 4th March 2025 in Dubai with the opposition yet to be decided.
