The 16th Match between London Spirit and Trent Rockets, of the Hundred Mens competition 2023, was one of the highest-scoring matches of the tournament. Close to 400 runs were scored in this match, and it went till the last ball. Till the final ball of the match, no one was able to anticipate who was going to win it. This clearly showed the quality of Cricket that was displayed. This win had certainly helped the London Spirit to move up the table.

- Trent Rockets had a huge target in front of them, and that was 196 runs.
- The fate of the opening stand of Trent Rockets was similar to London Spirit. Their opening partnership lasted for only 3 runs. Soon, the wicket of Alex Hales fell at the team score of 18.
- The best partnership for Trent Rockets happened between Joe Root and Colin Munro. It was a partnership of 69 runs, and it kept the hope alive for the team.
- However, Joe Root consistently felt short of partners, and due to that, he was not able to make his team win.
