Indian off-spinner Sneh Rana has registered her name in the history books, becoming only the second Indian woman cricketer to achieve a remarkable feat in Test cricket. During the recently concluded Test match against South Africa at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Rana bagged a sensational 10-wicket haul, dismantling the South African batting line-up almost single-handedly.

The 30-year-old spinner’s way to this historic achievement began in the first inning. She crumbled on the South African batting order, taking a staggering 8 wickets. Her spell restricted the visitors to a manageable total of 266 runs, giving India a significant advantage.

This phenomenal feat places Sneh Rana in elite company. She joins the legendary Jhulan Goswami as the only Indian women cricketer to achieve this remarkable feat in Test cricket. Goswami achieved a similar 10-wicket haul back in 2006 against England at Taunton.
