Reports: India likely to host New Zealand before T20 World Cup 2021

There are several things to cheer about Indian Cricket team especially the way they have played in ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy and showed their resilience and class in absence of their regular test lineup who were ruled out from the series due to injury.

BCCI is making sure that India gets lots of T20 matches under their belt before they go ahead and lock horns against World Class teams in 2021 World Cup.

The source also added that the main idea is to play as many T20 games as possible, with the T20 World Cup coming up.

“The venues and detailing will be done in some time. But the idea is to play maximum T20 games with an eye on the T20 World Cup. It will help the boys prepare,” said the source as quoted by NDTV Sports.

Taking about the last test match between India and Australia at Brisbane the visitors needs to bat really well in order to save this Test match. If India has to win or draw this Test match senior players like Rohit, Pujara and Rahane needs to step up and make sure that India retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
