Pak vs NZ 2nd T20I:  Pakistan suffered Humiliating series loss against New Zealand

Pakistan Cricket Team needs some serious introspection; with the way they are approaching Cricket in all three formats of the game.

The recent loss against New Zealand in T20I followed by ODI Series indicates that there is too much ground to cover for Men in Green.

Talking about the game development, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first, apart from Sufiyan Muqeem who clinched 2 wickets for 33 runs no other bowler was successful.

Most bowlers gave away more than 60 runs in their quota of 10 overs.

Eventually New Zealand scored 292 runs with batting brilliance from Mitchell Hay who scored unbeaten 97 runs.

When it comes to witnessing Chase from Pakistan, they were absolute dumb and clueless. They lost first 6 wickets under 36 runs which speaks volume about their intent in batting.

Abdullah Shafique, Imam Ul Haq, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Agha Salman had no clue at all against Fast pace and bounce on how to counter that.

At the end some heart and character were shown by Faheem Ashraf who scored 73 runs complemented by Naseem Shah who scored 51 runs in the end it wasn’t enough as they lost game against Black Caps by mere by 84 runs.

Overall, if you look at the entire campaign it has been hugely disappointing for them, as they are playing ODI series with full strength squad in comparison to New Zealand second string squad as their current team most players are either taking rest or playing IPL which in itself speaks a lot about New Zealand bench strength.

Pakistan have too much on their platters to think through, if they don’t address tough questions now it will be too much for them at the end to tackle and ultimately they will become obsolete in World Cricket.
