Nieff’s football journey began in Groningen, the Netherlands. He started his career with SC Cambuur before joining his hometown club, FC Groningen. Graduating from Groningen’s academy and youth sides, he made over 100 appearances for the First Team, including being part of the squad that won the prestigious 2014-15 KNVB Cup.
After a short stint with Heracles Almelo in the Netherlands, van Nieff ventured beyond his home country, signing with Hungarian First Division club Puskas Akademia FC for the 2019-20 season. The 30-year-old midfielder proved to be an influential player, consistently helping Puskás achieve commendable league finishes during his four-year tenure.
Having represented the Netherlands at the youth level, van Nieff brings not only his extensive experience in the Dutch Eredivisie and the Hungarian First Division but also his goal-scoring ability from the midfield.
