Lyca Kovai Kings Crushed Dindigul Dragons to Advance to Final
The Lyca Kovai Kings have cleared their way to the final in the Tamil Nadu Premier League as they crushed the Dindigul Dragons by 30 runs in the Eliminator match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) on Friday.

The Kings, who were put into bat, scored 193 for 7 in their 20 overs. The right-hand batter Sachin B top-scored with a scintillating 70 off 46 balls, while U Mukilesh made 44 off 27 balls.
In reply, the Dragons finished at 163 with 1 wicket to spare in their 20 overs. M Mohammed was the pick of the bowlers for the Kings, taking 3 for 26. With this win, the Kings have advanced to the final of the TNPL, where who will they meet is yet to be decided.
The Kings were in control of the match from the start. They got off to a good start, with Sachin and Mukilesh putting on an 83-run partnership for the third wicket. Sachin was the aggressor in the partnership, hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes. Mukilesh played the supporting role, scoring 44 runs off 27 balls.
After Mukilesh was dismissed, the Kings continued to score at a brisk pace. They reached 100 early and then accelerated in the final overs. The Dragons were never in the chase. They lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 163.
