1. Feeling on Playing Last Match for India:
He said that it didn’t sunk in yet that he played his last match for India . I am still soaking the moment and my last match was nothing short of roller coaster ride and the farewell match was nothing short of anything.
2. Future Table Tennis Talent:
There are couple of players including the likes of- Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, Manav Thakkar, Manush Shah, Ankur Bhattacharjee, Taneesha kotecha, Sayali Wani and Pritha Vartikar shows glimpses of future stars for India.
3. His Future Role:
If Table Tennis Federation consider him, as assistant coach role that he would be happy to do that, where I will assist Massimo Constantini (national coach) where I will try to bring all players to come together.
4. Expansion of Sports in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities:
The Sport is certainly growing in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities, and credit should be given to all stakeholders who have worked hard behind the scenes to make this entity extremely popular. Initiatives Like U-15 Tournaments are helping players to step in the right direction.
We need more workshops, player education and structured coaching approach to build a wider talent pool.
5. On Analytics Role:
When it comes to Analytics Role, where we analyse every match, where we track our opponents, refining our techniques and adjusting tactics in the game. Analytics is essential part of the game there is lot analyzed before the game progresses.
6. How he wants to be Remembered:
Honestly speaking, I know lot of people know me as pioneer in Indian Table Tennis, and I just hope next generation of players keep pushing boundaries and achieve even greatest heights.
