- Dambulla batted first and they got a brilliant start of 61 runs. This was certainly a great partnership. This partnership lasted for 7.5 overs. Now it was necessary to ensure that they maintain the run rate. However, the next two wickets fell early, and the score was 81-3.
- An important partnership happened between Ben McDermott and Hayden Kerr. They took the score from 104 to 142.
- In the end, Kerr and Jayathilake added a few quick runs, and they were able to reach the score of 162 runs.

B-Love Kandy Innings
- Kandy had a target of 163 in front of them. For that, they needed an opening partnership, and they were not able to get that. Their first wicket fell when the team score was only 11.
- The next wicket fell at the score of 12. For the third wicket Dinesh Chandimal, and Wanindu Hasaranga tried hard and took the score to 47.
- Once the score was 47-3, Angelo Mathews, and Chandimal took the score to 88, with their 41 runs partnership.
- Even after so much effort by Chandimal, he was falling short of partners. He scored a brilliant 50 but got out at the team score of 120.
- This started putting pressure on the tailenders, and the team got all out at a score of 142.
Even though B-Love Candy lost the match, both the teams have qualified for the next stage of the tournament, that is the qualifiers. They are certainly going to give their best to reach the finals.
