India’s tour of England 2025: IND vs ENG full schedule, dates and venues

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the fixture for IND vs ENG five-match Test series to be held in England. This series will mark the fresh beginning of the World Test Championship (WTC) cycle 2025-27.

The five-match Test series will be almost 2-months long and will be spread over four major cities of England- London, Headingly, Birmingham, and Manchester.

Notably, India has not won any Test series in England since 2007. Although, Men in Blue came close three years ago in 2021 but the series ended in 2-2 draw.

Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian side and he will aim to win the series to add another feather to his already remarkable achievements. Indian captain has already conquered Australia and now waits for the England tour.

IND vs ENG Test Schedule-

IND vs ENG 1st Test: June 20 to June 24, Leeds Cricket Ground in Headingley

IND vs ENG 2nd Test: July 2 to July 6, Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham

IND vs ENG 3rd Test: July 10 to July 14, Lord’s Cricket Ground, London

IND vs ENG 4th Test: July 23 to July 27, Old Trafford in Manchester

IND vs EN G 5th Test: July 31 to August 4, The Oval in London

Prior, to this series, if India qualifies, they will feature in the WTC final 2025. Meanwhile, there is no confirmation on whether India and England will indulge in any practice matches or not.

Talking about World Test Championship standings, India leads the chart with a win percentage of 68.51. Australia stands second, meanwhile, England is in 7th position with a win percentage of 36.54.

Earlier this year the two teams battled each other out in a grueling five-match Test series. The series was played between February and March, and India secured a dominant 4-1 victory over England. The star of the series, who caught everyone’s eye was Yashasvi Jaiswal. He scored over 700 runs, including 2 double centuries.
