Over the last few years Indian women’s Hockey team has performed well across all events. Last year they clinched victory in FIH Series Finals and the FIH Hockey Olympic due to which they were able to break into top 10 sides in the world as they claimed the 9th ranking after that victory.
With the way Indian Women’s Hockey team is performing it will not be ironic to say that they will enter in top 5 of the World ranking believes Goalkeeper Savita.
She expressed that a defined structure in Indian Hockey has been one of the main reasons behind India’s success in the recent past. She spoke about Indian Women’s team performance in detail.
“Good performance don’t come overnight. In order to attain good results, meticulous planing, and ensuring that our team is evolving day by day are the key factors. We have certainly worked hard for our performances ;however I would credit Hockey India for implementing a good structure, wherein we are working with good coaches, our physical fitness scheduling are being continuously monitored and we are following a strict diet as well” said goalkeeper Savita in an official Hockey India release.
The credit should also be given to SAI(Sports Authority of India) Bengaluru for supporting players and playing a very important role in their development as well as in their nourishment to a great extent effectively and efficiently.
