A potential start date of October 5 has been set for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, which will feature 10 nations competing for the prestigious ODI cricket championship in India. Ahmedabad will host both the final on November 19 and the inaugural game featuring England and New Zealand on November 8.
The locations which are anticipated to stage the renowned tournament later this year have been disclosed by sources connected to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), but a public statement has not yet been made.

The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 would be held in 12 Indian locations, based on reports from reliable sources. Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Indore, Dharamshala, Guwahati, Raipur, and Rajkot are some of those locations. These places, however, could alter if required.

Just six of the nominated locations—Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Bangalore—have staged games in the ODI World Cup before. Sadly, Mohali and Nagpur, who participated in the 2011 tournament, will not be hosting games this season.

- Eden Gardens – Kolkata
- Arun Jaitley Stadium – Delhi
- MA Chidambaram – Chennai
- M Chinnaswamy – Bangalore
- Narendra Modi Stadium – Ahmedabad
- Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium – Hyderabad
- Baraspara Stadium – Guwahati
- Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium – Raipur

All of the venues will host at least one match of the Indian team. India will play 9 matches in the league phases while Pakistan’s only match outside of South-India will be at Ahmedabad against India.
