‘I am grateful to RCB for picking me in IPL 2022’- Elated Dinesh Karthik said these words after receiving call for Team India limited over format

“Keep believing in yourself things will fall in place” is a very popular and easily said words which is often used in motivational sessions by trainers but to implement these words in your daily life is a daunting task in itself and there are very few who actually believe in them and achieve their dreams.

The player who perfectly suits the above lines is none other than veteran wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik who made a comeback to Indian national side in limited over formats after his fine batting display throughout IPL 2022 for RCB

He was picked by RCB ahead of IPL 2022 where he managed to score 287 runs in 14 matches with a strike rate of 191.33 and batting average of 57.40. Karthik has been instrumental for RCB this year and dismantled the bowling attacks of all opposition teams.

He was grateful to RCB for picking him ahead of main event and consistently giving him chance lower down the order and based on his stellar performance in the ongoing edition of cash rich league he was picked in Indian team for the upcoming five match T20 series against South Africa.

I am very happy. I am very satisfied. This is my most special comeback because a lot of people had given up on me,” Karthik was quoted as saying by RCB’s official website.

“For me to comeback and do what I did, practice the way I did, so many special things have happened in the lead up to the rock-shell and how I practiced post that,” he added.

“I think the clarity that they gave me for me to execute the role that I wanted to do, in many ways I am indebted to RCB for picking me and giving me that role, believing in me and then me coming out here and trying to do my best for team RCB. So, it’s all and all a very very happy feeling,” he added

Karthik’s addition to limited over squad can be fruitful for Men in Blue as T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to take place in Australia in October later this year.
