Hrishita Basu is a young 19-year-old Women cricketer who made history with the U-19 team last month. She was a key member in the Indian team that won the inaugural ICC U-19 Women’s T20 world cup and helped the Girls in blue become World champions at any age level.
Her family introduced her to the game of Cricket at age 6 and completed her schooling from St. Thomas Church School.
She was born in Howrah, West Bengal in a region named Balitikuri in Dasnagar. She is yet to make her International debut for the senior team. Hrishita Basu will sooner or later appear for the Women in Blues following her outstanding performance in the U-19 Women’s T20 World cup.
