Ravichandran Ashwin said Bhuvneshwar concentrated on honing his skills rather than aiming for a comeback, according to The Times of India. The Indian Express quoted Ashwin as saying the seamer "never looked for the fruit".
The Times of India also reported that Ashwin is optimistic about India's chances at the 2027 ODI World Cup, pointing to the team's bowling and experienced hitters.
