English Premier League 2022/23 : Tottenham Hotspur’s director of football Fabio Paratici’s ban extended worldwide by FIFA!
Tottenham Hotspur director of football received a 30-month ban from participating in Italian Football Federation operations in January as part of an investigation into alleged financial mismanagement at Juventus, which resulted in the suspension of 11 officials and the club was handed with a 15-point deduction Serie A this season.
However, his ban has now been globalized after the Italian FA requested the ban to be made applicable globally, and FIFA has verified to Sportzcraazy that it complied with this request, effectively barring Paratici from all football-related activities worldwide.

It will turn out to be a huge blow for North-Londoners Spurs who welcomed Paratici only a year ago as the director of football. Paratici led to the signing of Antonio Conte as the manager but both of them are gone now. Spurs are 4th in the PL Standings at the moment and they have a lot to deal with in the final stretch of the season.

The best they can hope is a top 4 finish otherwise it will be a season to forget like every previous season has been. Meanwhile, a preliminary hearing for Paratici and 11 other former Juventus executives, which was scheduled for yesterday, has been rescheduled for May 10. Juventus, as well as the 12 officials involved, including Paratici, reject any wrongdoing.

“FIFA have confirmed that – following a request by the Italian FA (FIGC) – the Chairperson of FIFA Disciplinary Committee has decided to extend the sanctions imposed by FIGC on several football officials to have worldwide effect.”
But what does that mean? It means that Fabio Paratici will not be able to involve in any activity on the transfer market and he will not carry out any meeting or negotiation with agents about transfer deals, which is actually the main component of his job. But he is still eligible to involve in the internal meetings of Spurs’ board.
