Australian star player David Warner in recent years has become consistent with his bat. Warner takes time to settle at the start of the innings and takes a calculated risk and once he sets his eye in he is a very destructive player and can take the entire opposition by storm.

Once he gets settled and understands how the pitch is behaving he can take away game from the opposition very quickly after that.

There have been several reports making the round as some of the cricketers have supported the use of saliva while others are against it.

David Warner is against the use of saliva ban As he said once the cricket resumes after a long period everyone will try to get in the groove and suddenly the change in the rule will be difficult for players to accept that.

“I don’t think that the use of saliva on the ball which is used for the movement will lead to any problem or in other words, can spread the virus”. Warner said.

“The final call is on the ICC that they will implement this rule or not the only thing that I will add over here is we will be sharing the dressing room once the cricket resumes and we will train together for upcoming matches will all the preconceived rule and suddenly adopting a new rule will change the way how bowlers will react to this rule especially in Test Cricket”. He further added.

However, India’s fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad has supported the idea of using saliva on the ball. We need to wait for some days once ICC takes a final call on it but there is one thing which is very evident and clear “It will make batsman stronger and will expose vulnerabilities inside bowlers”.
