Cricket Fraternity hails Stuart Broad for taking 500 Test Wickets

Cricket Fraternity extended their wishes to England Legendary pacer, Stuart Broad, who clinched 500 Test wickets during the third Test match against West Indies on Tuesday.

He became the second bowler from England as he joins James Anderson in the elite list of bowlers who have taken more than 500 Test wickets.

The achievement came after he dismissed Caribbean batsman, Kraigg Brathwaite, in the 14th over of the second innings.

Indian great Sachin Tendulkar congratulated England for the series win against West Indies and praise Broad for his achievement.

Another Indian star middle-order batsman, Yuvraj Singh, who had a fascinating encounter in 2007 T20 World Cup, where he hit Broad for six sixes in an over was quick to praise the latter for his achievement in the longest format of the game.

Former English fast bowler Ryan Sidebottom appreciated his fellow countrymen Broad for his outstanding achievement in Test Cricket.

Australian batting giant, Ricky Ponting, who has seen intense rivalry in Ashes against the likes of Broad and Anderson was quick to appreciate Broad for his amazing feet “Congratulations@StuartBroad8 on 500 Test wickets. The third test match between England and West Indies was a special game for Broad as he also scored 62 runs with the bat in the second innings for England to help his side post 362 runs on the board.
