Craig Alexander Young, a professional Irish cricketer, was born on April 4, of the year 1990. Young bowls right-arm medium pace and bats right-handed. On May 26, of the year 2013, Craig Alexander Young made his international debut for Ireland’s national cricket team against Scotland.

Early and domestic career
Young was a medium pace bowler for Bready Cricket Club in the North West Senior League. Young was awarded a one-year contract by Sussex for the year 2010 after participating in the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup for the Ireland national under-19 cricket team, where Craig Alexander Young took nine wickets. Young was included in Ireland’s Test team for their match against Pakistan in the month of May of the year 2018, but Craig Alexander Young was not chosen to participate. Craig Alexander Young was included in the Ireland Wolves squad in the month of June of the year 2019 for their domestic cricket series against Scotland A.
