That is because his teammate Salman Irshad went on to bowl a phenomenal T20 spell. But chasing the target in T20 is not an easy task especially when the opponent’s bowling is brilliant. Brandon King was the spearhead in chasing the target. He went on to score a brilliant 67 runs on only 33 balls.

- He formed partnerships with all the batters who came out to bat for the team.
- The opening stand was 52 runs, and the second-wicket partnership took the score to 121 runs.
- The 3rd wicket opening stand between Shamarh Brooks and Amir Jangoo ensured that both players went on to finish the run chase without breaking the partnership.
- Even by the time Brandon King got out, the score of the team was already 121 runs, and the win for his team was quite definite by then.
