Bournemouth have voiced frustration with England over the treatment of midfielder Alex Scott, who suffered a thigh injury during his full debut in the Nations League. The club says the injury could keep him out for up to eight weeks, or roughly two months, after the match against Croatia.

England manager Thomas Tuchel defended the decision, stating the team took ‘zero risk’ and gave Scott the green light to play. He added that the midfielder will miss the remainder of the international break following the injury and will be unavailable for Bournemouth's upcoming fixtures.
