The Men in Blue thrashed Australia by 295 runs at the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy Opening Test match held in Perth.
The Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah along with Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohd Siraj, and Nitish Reddy all gave excellent performances, and Team India was spot on from the first word “Go.” They all deserve special recognition for their exceptional work.
The nicest thing about this win and the Indian team’s bench strength is that, despite the absence of Ravi Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja from the first test match, the Men in Blue were still able to put on a fantastic display against the Kangaroos.
The return of regular captain Rohit Sharma will improve team flexibility, which will be the best thing for the Men in Blue.

India’s confidence is undoubtedly boosted by their two most recent series victories under Australia, which is a difficult accomplishment to understand.
Given that they lost three match series to the Kiwis, returning from Australia and defeating them is no small accomplishment, thus this win would give them a significant boost.
