Australia A’s Nathan McSweeney studied YouTube footage of Virat Kohli and Steve Smith to ready himself for Indian spin. The approach proved successful; he finished as the leading run‑scorer in the one‑day series against India A, contributing to a 2‑1 series win in Puducherry.
Teammate Murphy highlighted the impact of the fast bowlers, saying, “the ball speed from the quicks and how exciting they were and how threatening they looked,” underscoring the all‑round effort that helped Australia A secure the series.
