Playing Career
Khan was included in the United Arab Emirates T20I team for their series against Bangladesh in September 2022. Aayan played Bangladesh on September 25, 2022, in his first T20I match. He was included in the United Arab Emirates team later that month for the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. For their series against Nepal in November 2022, the United Arab Emirates One Day International (ODI) team included Ayaan Afzal Khan. On November 14, 2022, Khan played his first One Day International against Nepal’s National Cricket Team.
Personal Life
Aayan, the son of Afzal and Shahista, was born in Goa, India. He was raised in Sharjah after his family relocated to the UAE when he was two years old. Afsha, his younger sister, is also a rising cricket star.
