Sports Minister Anurag Thakur inaugurated 33 Khelo India Centres (KICs) across Rajasthan on August 23, 2023
The centres are located in 33 districts of the state
And will provide training and coaching in 18 sports disciplines to young athletes.
The KICs are part of the Khelo India programme
Which is a national initiative to promote sports and games in India.
The programme aims to identify and train young athletes and prepare them for national and international competitions.
The 33 KICs in Rajasthan will be equipped with modern sports facilities
