Saudi Arabia’s ‘Six Kings Slam’

On Monday, February 5, Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority announced that this October, the country is going to organize a tennis tournament even named “6 Kings Slam” in Riyadh.

The move marks the latest stride into tennis for Saudi Arabia, and the country continues to showcase its willingness and ability to pay to attract the top players in the world.

As the name implies, the exhibhition will include six elite tennis players: Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune.

Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis player, has won 24 Grand Slams (singles).

Rafael Nadal, the Spanish tennis player, has won 22 grand slams (singles). Last month, Nadal signed up as an ambassador for the Saudi Arabian Tennis Federation.

Carlos Alcaraz, the Spanish tennis player, has won two Grand Slams (singles).

Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev have won one grand slam (singles) each.
