Reece Topley looks to make up for lost time after getting through warm-ups unscathed

Reece Topley is one of the most exciting fast bowlers in the world, but he has been unlucky with injuries in recent years.

He was ruled out of the 2021 T20 World Cup with a stress fracture in his back

And he missed the 2022 T20 World Cup after tripping over a boundary cushion in a warm-up match and rupturing ligaments in his ankle.

Topley is now fully fit and is determined to make up for lost time at the 2023 Cricket World Cup in India.

He has been in excellent form in the warm-up matches, taking six wickets for 24 runs against Bangladesh

"I'm really excited to be here and to have the opportunity to play in a World Cup," Topley said.
