Jamaica made history by knocking out Brazil in the Women's World Cup

The Reggae Girlz held the five-time champions to a 0-0 draw, enough to send them through to  knockout stages at Brazil's expense.

It was a remarkable achievement for Jamaica, who were making their first appearance in the World Cup

They had never beaten Brazil before, and they had never even drawn against them.

But on 31st July, they showed that they are a team on the rise.

The Reggae Girlz were well-organized defensively, and they limited Brazil to few chances.

They also created some good chances of their own, and they could have won the match if they had been more clinical in front of goal.

In the end, a draw was enough to secure their place in the knockout stages, and they will now face Australia in the round of 16
