ISPL Rules and Regulations

Even though the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is still in its infancy, the first competition is off to a phenomenal start.

The first season will feature six teams: Majhi Mumbai, Bangalore Strikers, Chennai Singams, Tiigers of Kolkata, Falcon Risers Hyderabad, and Srinagar Ke Veer.

The competition is underway at Thane's Dadoji Kondadev Stadium and runs until March 15.

The competition will be contested in a T10 format, with each team batting for 10 overs. This format is well-known over the world.

The original coin flip does not indicate who would bat or bowl. Instead, the two leaders will use the Tip-Top Toe Toss method, which is common in street cricket.

In this situation, the captains will stand with their backs to each other before moving forward a specified distance. After that, they will turn around and begin advancing towards each other with little Tip-Top steps.

As they approach each other, the captain whose foot comes into contact with his opponent's foot wins the toss.

In the tournament, a Tennis Ball is utilised instead of a Deuce ball, which is used in cricket. Additionally, there will be two Tape-Ball overs per inning.
