Iga Swiatek of Poland defeated American teenager Coco Gauff

Swiatek, the world number one, won 6-1, 6-3 in just over an hour to claim her second title at Roland-Garros.

Swiatek, who is 21 years old, has been in dominant form since the start of the year

She has won 35 matches in a row, the longest winning streak on the WTA Tour

Gauff, who is 18 years old, was playing in her first Grand Slam final.

She had never won a match on clay before this tournament, 

but she reached the final by beating several seeded players, including defending champion Barbora Krejcikova.

In the final, Swiatek started quickly and broke Gauff's serve in the first game.
