Watch : Manchester United Midfielder Casemiro get sent off for this challenge! The Brazilian will now miss United's next 4 games!

After being dismissed in the opening period of Sunday’s Premier League encounter between Manchester United and Southampton at Old Trafford, midfielder Casemiro will miss four games.

With 34 minutes remaining, a VAR review led to the Brazilian’s dismissal. He had previously played for Real Madrid before joining the Reds last summer. Anthony Taylor, the referee, gave him his first warning for a strong tackle on Carlos Alcaraz of the Saints.

Additionally, he will miss the matches in the Premier League that take place against Everton, Brentford, and Newcastle United right after the forthcoming international break.

I think it’s all across. I mean, you see yesterday, Leicester-Chelsea, then VAR is not coming on the line. Today it’s coming on the line and then it’s two penalty situations, but they don’t come on the line.” – said Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag.

As a result Casemiro will now miss the following games –
