Yesterday’s match of the Hundred Womens Competition 2023, was certainly an easy win for the Welsh Fire. They went on to get the victory by a huge margin of 41 runs. This shows that they are certainly a brilliant team, and deserves to be at the top of the table. On the other end, Trent Rockets were certainly a weak side of the team. The result of the match proves that because their quality of Cricket was nowhere close to the opponents.

Welsh Fire Women Innings
- Welsh Fire batted first, and their aim was to get a good opening stand. They were able to get that.
- The opening partnership contributed a mammoth 81 runs on the board before Dunkley got out. However, Captain Beaumont continued to show her excellence.
- The next big partnership was between the captain and Sarah Bryce. They both took the score from 81 to the score of 181. This clearly showed the brilliant performance of both players.
- However, in all the partnerships Captain Beaumont was the one who was scoring the majority of the runs. By the time innings were over, the team’s total was 181 runs, and the captain’s score was 118 runs alone. She certainly fought like a lone Wolf.
Trent Rockets Women Innings
- Trent had a huge score to chase. The target was 182 runs, and that had to be chased in only 100 balls.
- They started their innings with a quick-fire opening partnership of 78 runs only on 44 balls. After that 2 quick wickets fell, and after that there was a short partnership between Garner and Harmanpreet Kaur.
- The wickets kept on falling, and Kaur didn’t get any support. Soon, the score was only 14-5 after 100 balls.
Trent Rockets lost by 41 runs, and they rest in 6th position on the table of the Hundred Womens Competition . Welsh Fire continues to be at the top of the table.
